COVID-19 OFFICE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

My office is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

• Please text me when you arrive and I will come out and take the temperature of anyone involved in the therapy session that day.

• No food or drink will be allowed in the waiting room in therapy room.

• Only the child and parent/s involved in therapy will be allowed in the waiting room, NO SIBLINGS or extra children. If a visitation worker is required to attend with the family, that worker will be allowed as well, however my waiting room area is very small. All persons in the waiting room will be required to wear masks.

• All persons, in the waiting room or therapy room will wear masks.

• I will maintain safe distancing and wear a mask myself.

• Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is offered in the waiting room and everyone who enters the waiting room will use it upon entering the waiting room

• Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone will wash their hands prior to entering the play therapy room and upon ending the session children will wash their hands again.

• I schedule appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room and allow myself time to sanitize items in-between sessions.

• I ask all patients to wait in their cars or outside until no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment times.

• Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.

• Physical contact is not permitted.

• Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.

• Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.
